Election Update

The results of the Town's election will be certified by the County Auditor on November 26.  Councilmember Mitchell ran unopposed and was reelected to a four year term beginning on January 1st.  She will be sworn in at the Council's first meeting in January.

Councilmembers Quinn and Bogen also ran unopposed.  However, they were appointed to their current positions to fill vacancies created by the retirements of former Councilmembers Saltonstall and Anderson.  As a result, they were elected to serve in their positions for the remainder of 2019 in addition to the remaining two years of the retired members' four year term beginning on January 1st.  They will be sworn in on at the Council meeting on December  2nd.

Andrew DeDonker, a member of the Town's Planning Commission, is the apparent winner of the race for the position currently held by Councilmember Tom Howard.  Once confirmed by the Auditor, the winner will be sworn in at the Council's first meeting in January.
