Pursuant to WMC14A.04.070, notice is hereby given that an application for a two-lot short plat has been received by the Town and will be processed according to the provisions of the Woodway Municipal Code.

Date of Letter of Completeness: March 24, 2021. A decision on the application will be made within 120 days of the issuance of the letter of completeness.

Project Description: The division of an existing 35,405 square foot (.81 ac) parcel into two legal lots. Lot one is planned for 19,679 sq. ft. in area and Lot two is planned for 15,726 sq. ft. in area. An existing home currently occupies Lot 1.
Requested Approvals: The request is to receive preliminary short plat approval by the Woodway Planning Commission.
Existing Environmental Documents: The proposed short plat contains wetlands and associated buffers and pursuant to WMC 16.04 is not exempt from SEPA requirements. A SEPA checklist has been prepared and is available for review at the Woodway Town Hall, 23920 113th Place West, Woodway, WA 98020.

Public Hearing Date: The Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on the application at a date and time to be announced later during the application processing period. A separate public hearing notice will be published, posted on the property and Town reader boards, and mailed to surrounding property owners within 600 feet of the boundaries of the subject property pursuant to WMC 14A.04.080. Any person may participate in the public hearing.
Public Comment Period: This Notice establishes a 14-day public comment period ending April 9, 2021. Comments received during this time can be used in preparation of the Town Staff Report and Recommendation to the Planning Commission. Public comment is not limited to this period. Public comments will be accepted at the public hearing before the Woodway Planning Commission.
Decision Timeline: The Woodway Planning Commission will conduct an open record public hearing and render a decision within 14 days of the conclusion of the record. All information related to this application is on file with the Town and may be reviewed at: Woodway Town Hall, 23920 113th Place West, Woodway, WA 98020 Any person may request a copy of the decision once made. Appeals of the decisions related to this action request are governed by WMC 14A.04.
Applicant’s Responsibility: The applicant is responsible to attain all necessary local, state, and federal permits related to the development of this property.
