Notice of Public Hearing

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Woodway’s 2024 preliminary budget has been filed. During the regular meeting on Monday, October 2, 2023 at 6 pm, the Woodway Town Council will hold a public hearing to take public input on the 2024 preliminary budget and will also hold a public hearing to take public input on the 2024 revenue sources. The public hearings will be held at Woodway Town Hall, 23920 113th Place W., Woodway, WA 98020.

The meeting also may be broadcast via Microsoft Teams; login and phone call instructions can be found in the calendar item for this meeting on our website: https://www.townofwoodway.com/calendar.php.

Any interested person(s) may provide oral and written public testimony regarding this issue at the public hearings. Written comments may also be submitted prior to the public hearing to Heidi Napolitino, Clerk-Treasurer at heidi@townofwoodway.com. Comments received by noon on October 2 will be provided to the Council electronically for consideration at that evening’s meeting. Comments received after that deadline will be provided to the Council after the meeting. If for any reason this hearing cannot be completed, the Council may continue it to another date. No further notice of a continued hearing is required.

The Town of Woodway will attempt to accommodate any special needs of those wishing to attend. If you require accommodation, please contact Town Hall a minimum of three (3) working days prior to the meeting date.

Interlocal Agreement Between the Town of Woodway, Snohomish County, the City of Shoreline, and Olympic View Water & Sewer District.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to RCW 35A.14.296, that the Interlocal Agreement between the Town of Woodway, Snohomish County, the City of Shoreline, and Olympic View Water & Sewer District concerning annexation of an unincorporated area of Snohomish County commonly referred to as Point Wells by the Town of Woodway is available for public review at the Town Clerk's Office, Woodway Town Hall, 23920 113th Place West, Woodway, WA 98020 or on the Town's website at: https://www.townofwoodway.com/your_government/building_and_planning/point_wells.php.

Interlocal Agreement for Annexation of Point Wells by the Town of Woodway.

NOTICE IS ALSO HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to RCW 35A.14.296, that the Town Council of the Town of Woodway will hold a Public Hearing during a regular meeting of the Town Council on Monday, October 2, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Woodway Town Hall, 23920 113th Place West, Woodway, WA 98020. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public testimony on the Interlocal Agreement between the Town of Woodway, Snohomish County, the City of Shoreline, and Olympic View Water & Sewer District concerning annexation of an unincorporated area of Snohomish County commonly referred to as Point Wells by the Town of Woodway.

After having heard all public testimony, the Woodway Town Council will consider taking final action approving and authorizing the Mayor to execute the Interlocal Agreement. All persons interested may appear at the time and place stated above and be heard on the matter. Public testimony is being accepted in person or by submitting written comment. Written comments must be submitted at heidi@townofwoodway.com no later than 4:00 p.m. PST on October 2, 2023. If for any reason this hearing cannot be completed, the Council may continue it to another date. No further notice of a continued hearing is required.
